Karmen Carr

Karmen Carr has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. She has had executive level management responsibility for more than 15 years. Karmen is the founder and managing partner of Concentrance Consulting Group Inc, a management consulting firm. Prior to Concentrance, Karmen was the Director of New Business Development Sourcing for Freddie Mac. In this role, Karmen was charged with the identification and analysis of new investment/growth opportunities for the company. During her eight-year tenure with Freddie Mac, Karmen was the visionary behind many high-profiled strategic initiatives and also led the implementation of the systems, products and programs associated with those initiatives. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Karmen was the Vice President of Mortgage Operations for First Virginia Bank Mortgage Corporation from 1986 until 1991.

Karmen graduated from the University of Maryland in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science having majored in economics and minored in music. In 1995 Karmen obtained a Masters of General Administration also from the University of Maryland. Karmen has been inducted and is a lifetime member of two national collegiate honor societies, Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Sigma Lambda. Karmen is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives.
