Braxton Cook has been selected as Grammy Jazz Ensemble Saxophonist!
The Jazz Academy’s own, Braxton Cook (Silver Spring, Maryland) has been selected to perform with the Grammy Jazz Ensemble. The world renowned Grammy Foundation was established to cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to American culture. The Jazz Academy Orchestra [JAO] Class of 2008’s CD is featured in the Jazz Education Guide which is presented by Jazz Times! The guide normally acknowledges colleges and universities but the Jazz Academy of Music is honored that such a prestigious publication took the time to recognize the 7th through 12th grade students featured on the CD.
